Gymnasium

1875 - 1953

Originally located where Seidlin Hall now stands, the first gym on campus was used actively for three or four years and then fell into disrepair. It changed hands several times and was eventually moved to the creek bank and used as a storehouse, blacksmith’s shop and carpenter shop. In 1953, it was torn down, moved and rebuilt as the main lodge at the Seventh Day Baptist Church camp, Camp Harley Sutton, in Alfred Station.
