Located at the corner of Pine and State Streets on the former site of Agriculture Buildings, Harder Hall was constructed in 1973. Initially, it housed the library, faculty offices, classrooms, studios, workshops, galleries, lounges and Major Holmes Auditorium, all part of the NYS College of Ceramics Upon completion of the Scholes Library of Ceramics, the library was moved across the street. It is used primarily by the Art and Design School.
